By starting service with Harbor Line Pool Care, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.
Weekly pool service includes routine maintenance necessary to keep the pool clean, clear, and properly balanced under normal operating conditions. This includes:
• Skimming surface debris
• Brushing pool walls and steps as needed
• Emptying skimmer and pump baskets
• Vacuuming as needed
• Testing and balancing water chemistry
• Adding routine balancing chemicals such as liquid chlorine, muriatic acid, and sodium bicarbonate when required
Service is provided once per week on an assigned service day.
Standard weekly service pricing applies to screened (caged) residential pools 18,000 gallons and under without excessive debris, specialty water features, or abnormal conditions. Final pricing may vary based on pool size, condition, access, equipment configuration, or additional features. Pricing is confirmed following an initial evaluation.
Monthly service pricing is based on up to 48 weekly visits per calendar year (averaging four visits per month). Some months will include five service weeks; these are offset by scheduled holiday weeks throughout the year and do not result in additional charges. Service frequency is calculated annually, not by the number of weeks in a specific month.
Routine balancing chemicals, including liquid chlorine, muriatic acid, and sodium bicarbonate (when required), are included in the monthly service rate.
Specialty balancing chemicals necessary to maintain proper water chemistry are not included in the monthly service rate and will be billed separately when required. These may include, but are not limited to:
• Stabilizer (CYA)
• Calcium hardness increaser
• Salt
• Chlorine tablets (used only when appropriate or requested)
• Algaecide
• Phosphate remover
• Clarifiers
• Other specialty treatments
If corrective or recovery treatment is required due to previous service neglect, algae growth, contamination, severe weather, equipment malfunction, or other abnormal conditions, Harbor Line Pool Care will notify the customer prior to treatment. Charges will reflect the materials required and any additional service time necessary to properly restore water quality.
Specialty and corrective chemicals are billed based on current market rates and professional application.
Cartritdge filter cleanings are not included with service and are billed separately. Filter cleanings are performed every 90 days, or as needed based on pressure readings, water clarity, and operating conditions.
Pools that are green, heavily neglected, or significantly out of chemical balance at the start of service may require Green-to-Clean or restorative treatment. Restoration services are quoted separately. Weekly service pricing does not include restorative or recovery work.
The customer must provide safe and unobstructed access to the pool on the assigned service day. Gates must be unlocked or access otherwise arranged. All pets including Dogs, cats, pet rats, snakes, monkeys, and sugar gliders, must be secured during service. If access is unavailable or pets are not secured, the visit may be skipped without credit.
Weekly service does not include equipment repair, replacement, or troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment. Minor operational adjustments may be made at the technician’s discretion. Repairs or replacements will be quoted separately.
Service may be affected by severe weather, storms, power outages, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Missed visits due to these conditions will not result in refunds.
Service is billed monthly and due in advance of service. Sevice started after the first of the month will be prorated fro the customer. Late payments may result in suspension of service.
Service may be cancelled by either party at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Monthly service fees are non-refundable, and service will continue through the paid period. No long-term contracts are required.
By requesting or accepting Green-to-Clean or restorative services, the customer acknowledges that the condition of pool surfaces, finishes, tile, grout, and underlying materials may not be fully visible prior to treatment. The customer agrees that Harbor Line Pool Care, including its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates, shall not be held liable for any pre-existing damage, deterioration, staining, discoloration, etching, flaking, or surface failure revealed during or after treatment.
Green-to-Clean services may involve brushing, vacuuming, chemical treatments, and filtration adjustments necessary to restore water clarity. These procedures may expose or highlight pre-existing surface defects previously concealed by algae or debris. Harbor Line Pool Care is not responsible for damage resulting from standard, industry-accepted cleaning and treatment procedures performed in good faith.
Harbor Line Pool Care is not responsible for pre-existing damage, aging equipment, surface discoloration, hidden structural defects, or issues resulting from water conditions outside normal service control.
By scheduling or continuing service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined above.
