Pools can change quickly, especially in Florida. This FAQ covers some of the most common questions we hear about our services from homeowners about water clarity, chemistry, and routine maintenance. If you don’t see your question here or something doesn’t look right, just reach out — we’re always happy to help.
Heavy pool use adds sunscreen, oils, and debris, which can quickly cause cloudiness. The next scheduled weekly pool cleaning will rebalance the water and clear it up.
Cloudiness can happen briefly after brushing or chemical adjustments and usually clears as the filter runs.
Extra use is fine. The next visit will rebalance the water if needed.
Evaporation is normal, especially in South West Florida during the fall and winter months.
It’s best to leave chemical adjustments to us.
Heavy rain will affect things like PH and chlorine levels but regular service keeps things under control.
If something looks unusual, let us know so we can address it at the next visit or sooner if needed.
Our green to clean service is designed specifically for that situation.
Filters are cleaned once a month unless conditions require it sooner.
pH measures how acidic or basic your pool water is. Keeping pH balanced helps chlorine work properly and prevents irritation to skin, eyes, and pool surfaces.
Cyanuric acid is a stabilizer that protects chlorine from being broken down by the sun. Without it, chlorine can disappear quickly in Florida heat.
Chlorine is what keeps pool water safe and clear by killing bacteria and preventing algae growth. It works best when the rest of the water chemistry is properly balanced.
We currently offer North Port pool service and Port Charlotte pool service in South West Florida.
